Baby Lips vs Nivea

With the summer holidays over and school starting again tomorrow I thought it was about time to get a new lip balm. Just an excuse to get a new lip balm? Maybe, but I do always find that I'm sat in class and suddenly my lips feel awfully dry! Suddenly I'm stuck in class, without a lip balm, struggling not to lick my lips and boy is it a hard task!
There has been such a hype about the new Maybelline Baby Lips lip balms and so I decided to get one of those. I then had a little look around Boots and found the new Nivea Honey and Milk lip balm. I couldn't decide which one to get so I got both. Why not!
My verdict? I prefer the Nivea Honey and Milk lip balm. Although both are very hydrating, I just find that the Nivea slides on easier. It also smells nicer as the Baby Lips doesn't have a smell about it. The packaging of Baby Lips is a lot nicer but a pound more expensive, which doesn't seem like much but every little helps!
This will definitely be going in my bag for school! What about you? What's your favourite Lip Balm?

Hey lovelies,
Recently I bought a beautiful new powder blue Pashley Poppy from Adora. I took it home, cleaned it, alot (I became a bit of a perfectionist) and then set about waiting for a sunny day when I wasnt doing anything to take photos. Unfortunatly, when this sunny day came, I was working. Just my luck. I could have waited for another sunny day but I thought "You know what georgie? You've got a beautiful summery bike and some flowery sunglasses, you dont need to wait for the sun, your sunny enough already!" With this in mind, I set off with my little brother Tom, to take some photos. Fabulous!
I decided to wear my Polka dot skirt today because, although it is chilly and very windy, I am going to a 1950s dance tonight with Holly. I'm going with her family and you dont have to dress up but most people do so I thought I would go a bit in the middle. Not fully dressed but good enough. I'm really looking forward to it, so watch this space for a 1950s themed blog!

My Brighton Adventure

Hey Guys!

So last weekend I went to Brighton, partly because my uncle lives there so we went to see him, and partly because I bought a new beautiful blue bicycle off of Adora, which I am planning on doing a whole blog post on tomorrow when it brightens up!
So, we went to Brighton for 3 days but the traffic was so bad on the way down, we got there at about 9pm which didn't leave much of the day left!

Day 1- Friday

I didn't take any photos today because I was so tired but we went to a beautiful restaurant on the seafront with Guy (My uncle).

Day 2- Saturday

Guy and Tom decided to play ping pong. These tables are dotted all over the place in Brighton!
The boys went swimming!
Burnt out pier

Best Fish and Chips ever!

Such a cute stall on the sea front selling 10 beads for a pound
An art display in the church. They were all made up of piano manuscripts.
Guitar shop!
 Sunday - Day 3

We were only in Brighton for half a day today so we went to the Pier and hen we went for a walk.

Dad and Charlie trying to act cool on the upside down ride

We then decided to go for a walk on the windiest and coldest day!!
It was great!

Finding Sky - Joss Stirling

Hello Lovelies,

Blurb:
You have half our gifts, I have the other ...When English girl Sky catches a glimpse of bad boy Zed in her new American high school, she can't get him out of her head. He talks to her with his thoughts. He reads her mind. He is the boy she will love for ever. Shadows stalk her past but a new evil threatens her future. She must face the dark even if it means losing her heart. Will Sky have the strength to embrace her power and be brave enough to control her own destiny, or will the demons of her past prevent her from realizing her true potential?

So, recently I borrowed this book from my friend and she said to me "This is my favourite book ever" and I just sort of nodded. I started reading it and I was hooked! This is the best book I have ever read ever and I'm not even kidding! It is such a cute love story and I juts cant get over it! If you like romance books then this is definitely for you and she should definitely read this!!

Hello lovelies,
So, today I went shopping with my gorgeous friends into the beautiful city of Bath, for Harriets birthday. I love Bath! Its really close, it very pretty and its got all of the right shops in the same place.
For lunch we went to Yo Sushi and I must admit I was pleasantly surprised! I had never tried sushi before, nor had I wanted to to be honest, but it was lovely, plus, they don't just do sushi! The have noodles and curry as well. The only bad side was that we had to pay for the water!!!

After we had eaten lunch, we did a little bit of shopping and a lot of window shopping. The first shop that I bought something in was New Look.
Flowery Sunglasses - New Look - £4.99
Excuse my messy hair! It was a busy day shopping!
These sunglasses are so nice and they were so cheap to so I just couldnt not buy them!

The other shop that I spent the rest of my money in was Boots.

Loreal - True Match Foundation - Golden Beige - £9.99
I've had this foundation before and it is great! It has such good coverage!

Bourjois - Colour boost - £7.99

Top - Orange Punch
Bottom- Fuchsia Libre
These Lip Pens are great too! They are so glossy and they dont look as bright as they do on my hand! Such a good buy!

Bourjois - Blusher - Rose Frisson - £7.99
This Blusher is a really sweet but subtle so I can wear it every day! Overall, it was a lovely day out!
